How to enter the code on a Ford C-Max

  2. Set the other digits with 2, 3 and 4.

Frequently asked questions

Is the C-Max radio the same as the Focus radio?

The C-Max (2003–2010) shares its radios with the Focus Mk2: 6000 CD, Sony CD / MP3 and Travelpilot navigation. Each radio still has its own code, worked out from its own serial.

Where is the serial on a Ford C-Max radio?

Switch the radio off, hold preset buttons 1 and 6 and switch it on – the V serial appears on the display. If it does not, take the radio out with removal keys and read the label on the case.

My C-Max is from 2011 or later.

Most later C-Max cars have Ford SYNC, which does not ask for a 4-digit code. Cars with a 6000 CD or Sony radio still do – type its V serial above.
