How to enter the code on a Ford S-Max

  1. With the radio showing CODE, press preset 1 until the first digit is right.
  2. Set the other digits with 2, 3 and 4.
  3. Hold 5 to confirm (on some Sony units: the OK button).

Where is the serial on a Ford S-Max radio?

Switch the radio off, hold preset buttons 1 and 6 and switch it on – the V serial appears on the display. Navigation units show it only on their label, so the unit has to come out.

Are the S-Max and Galaxy radios the same?

The S-Max and the Galaxy Mk3 (2006–2015) were built together and use the same radios. The code still depends on the serial of your own radio.

My S-Max is from 2015 or later.

The second S-Max uses Ford SYNC, which does not ask for a 4-digit radio code.
